What is a Principal Broker?

Agent doesn't only mean someone who sells real estate.  It also means a specific, legal relationship between a buyer and an agent and a seller and an agent.  In very rare instances, an agent can represent BOTH buyer and seller or NEITHER buyer nor seller! 

What this means to a buyer is that YOU MUST hire an agent who is legally bound to represent your best interests, and THAT WILL NOT BE THE AGENT WHO LISTED THE HOME YOU ARE TOURING!  They are legally bound to represent the SELLER!
